She is survived by her son, Chesley Crain (Lauren); grandchildren, Lucas Crain and Libby Crain; sister, Shirley Shaw (Greg); and brother, David Slimp.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and June Slimp.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, September 5, at 11:00 am at Forrest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. A memorial service will be held on Monday September 9, at 4:00 pm at The First United Methodist Church of Pell City.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The First United Methodist Church of Pell City.
