Funeral service for Daniel W. Bannister, age 39, of Pell City will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 31, 2023 in the chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will follow the service at Limbaugh Chapel Cemetery in Talladega, AL.
Daniel is survived by his sons, Hunter W. and River E. Bannister; parents, Barbara Jones Brooks (Floyd K. Brooks) and Harold W. Bannister (Sandra Bannister); sister, Leah Nicole Bannister; brother, Philip Blake Bannister; nieces, Savannah Gunter and Ryleigh Bannister; nephews, Peyton Gunter and Aiden Bannister; as well as several cousins, step-brothers and step-sisters and a host of extended family.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Amy Bannister Gunter; maternal grandparents, Charlie D. Jones and Pearl L. Jones; and his uncle, Charlie D. Jones Jr.; paternal grandparents, Bobbie Griffith and Earl Blackburn.
