Cleo Betty Glidewell Coley, 89, of Pell City Alabama died Sunday October 23rd, 2022. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 27th, 2022 at 2:00 PM, at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Thursday at 1:00 PM and the Rev. John Glass of Cropwell Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be at Lincoln City Cemetery.
Cleo Betty Glidewell Coley was born on June 9, 1933. The 8th of 9 children, she graduated from Lincoln High School. She was a member of Cropwell Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and exercising.
She is survived by her daughters Lezlie Coley Stauffer and her husband Jeff Stauffer, Stephanie Sawyer and her husband Joe Sawyer, sister Gwen Rich and her husband Pete Rich, along with 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sheree Coley Mann, her son Dana Robert Coley, her parents, Vinnie Lou and Horace Glidewell, her sisters Hester Davis, Fan Newton, Helen Brown, Margaret Bowman and brothers Aaron Glidewell, Tommy Glidewell, and Horace Glidewell Jr.
