Funeral service for Charles “Mac” McAlpine, age 93, of Riverside will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Pell City.
Mac is survived by his wife, Zoe Ellen McAlpine; son, Tommy McAlpine; daughters, Debra (Jimmy) Madden; Jerry (Samuel) Diaz; Darnell (David) Wright; grandchildren, Lisa, Nicole, Jennifer, Mark, Tommy Jr., Carly, Joseph, Codi, Christopher, and Candace; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 8 siblings; the mother of his children, Evelyn Littlefield; daughter, Norma Hyche; son, Eddie McAlpine; daughters-in-law, Peggy McAlpine and Diane McAlpine; sons-in-law, Gary Grooms and Mark Smith.
