Bobby Wayne Barber

Bobby sang with 2 gospel quartets and has recorded 4 albums. He enjoyed square dancing and started a square-dancing club in Pell City called Logan Martin Swingers. He loved traveling, camping, music, seeing the country from his RV, and most of all he loved spending time with his family especially around the holidays. Mr. Bobby was a great man and loved showing his kindness and honesty to everyone around him.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Shirley Barber; children, Linn Marie Davis, Cindy Gray (Tony), Jennifer Greene (Scott), Julie Pardue Carder, Leigh Pardue Nelson (Paul), and Clint Pardue (Christina); grandchildren, Jason Jordan, Cody Greene (Heather), Jesse Green, Meagan Baird Matheny (Kyle), Maddie Pardue, Clint Pardue Jr., Jeremey Gray and Jarad Gray (Kayla); 11 great grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his first wife, Lawana Sargent Barber; parents, Cornelius “Son” and Ima Louise “Shug” Barber; grandson, Brian James Brewster; and sister, Nelda Sue Barber Thorpe.

A visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, April 7, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
