He is survived by his wife, Christine Martin; sister, Vickie Hudgins (Buddy); brothers, Robert Martin (Karen), Wayne Martin (Debbie), Dwight Martin, and Joshua Martin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; his best friend, Earl” Big Boy” Castleberry; and special uncle, Harvey Martin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mary Martin; brother, James Payne; grandparents, Hendrix and Marie Martin and Robert and Etta Mae Walace.
A visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home (Pell City) on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 5 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday September 30, 2024, at 1:00pm in the Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel cemetery.
