He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jean Hoyle; daughter, Debbie Hoyle; son, David Hoyle (Frances); four grandchildren, April Shirley (Scooter), Deann Kuhens (Bill Riley), Miles Hoyle (Megan), and Madison Teofilo (Mason); six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchild; and sister, Sarah Melton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Datie Hoyle; brother, Nolan Hoyle; sister, Erma Hoyle; and grandson, Randall Strong.
Mr. Hoyle retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He served as a house parent and director of the Alabama Sheriff’s Boys Ranch for several years and was a member of the Alabama Campers on Missions.
There will be a visitation for Mr. Hoyle on Saturday, February 10, at Kilgroe Funeral Home starting at 2:00 pm with a service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL on Tuesday, February 13, at 12:30 pm.
