Bill was born in Houston, TX on January 21, 1953. He graduated from North Shore High School and received his Bachelor Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacegdoches, TX.
Bill worked in the steel industry for New Process Steel and U.S. Steel. He was a member of Helena United Methodist Church in Helena, AL. His passions were his family and his work.
Bill was predeceased by his father, William Henry English, Sr., and two sisters, Ailene English and Janet Phillips. Survivors include Bill's mother, Frances Havard English; two sons, William A. English and Paul W. Bushnell; one grandchild, Evan V. Bushnell; and one sister, Janice Ruley (Bill Ruley).
Visitation will be one hour before the 11 a.m. funeral on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Helena United Methodist Church in Helena, AL. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena, TX.
