Thomas Sherrill Watson

He was born on September 12, 1935, to the late Thomas and Frances Watson in St. Clair County, Alabama. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was united in holy matrimony with Carole Ballenger on June 20, 1959. Their union was blessed with two daughters.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Carole B. Watson; his two adoring daughters, Sheri W. Mason (James); and Ginger W. Morris (Chris); four grandchildren, Matthew Motley; James Mason, Jr.; Steven Morris; and Thomas Mason; along with three great-grandchildren, Brady; Edwin; and Mary Watkins. Thomas is also survived by his sister, Charlotte W. Burdette.

There will be a visitation at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 11:30 – 12:30 pm. Thomas will be laid to rest with military honors in a private graveside at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
