Blackburn, Sidney Stephen "Sid", age 61, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away, on Friday, September 8, 2023. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in Mountain Brook. Sid went to Auburn University and completed his Bachelor's Degree in Business at UAB. He worked in a variety of jobs in sales, and asbestos removal but his true talents was in his landscaping abilities. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and hunting. Sid was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Begie Blackburn.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Blackburn Neel (Rick); brother, Charles Rabb Blackburn, Jr. (Jackie), and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
