She was born on June 22, 1940 in New York.
Preceding Shirley in death is her husband, Gordon H. Brown; her son, James Brown; and her sister Phyllis.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Timothy (Kim) Brown; Michael (Sheila) Brown; Jeff (Barbara) Brown; and Randy Brown; her grandchildren, Christina; Mindy; Lindsay; Jake; Madison; Morgan; and Emma; and her great-grandchildren, Zoie; Zadie; Joseph; Finnley; and Hudson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Janet and Susie.
A funeral service will be held at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow immediately at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
