Sherry Rentz Hill

It is with extreme sorrow that we share that our beloved wife, mother, aunt, cousin and friend, Sherry Rentz Hill of Alabaster, AL, passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wittie Carlisle Rentz and Charles Edward Rentz, and sister, Inell Rentz McGee.

Mrs. Hill's surviving family includes her husband, W. Steve Hill; son, Brian Hill (Michele); daughter, Christina Naro (Michael); grandchildren, Olivia Bowser, Abigail King (Dalton), Olivia Naro, and Jacob Naro; great-granddaughter, Lucy Brazeal; sister, Charlene Rentz Meadows (Don); and a host of cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

Born July 11, 1948, in Linden, AL, Mrs. Hill was a graduate of Linden High School and Huntington College. After a short teaching career, she settled into the role she was most suited for as a homemaker, mother, grandmother and friend.

Raised in the Methodist Church, specifically her childhood church of Campground Methodist in Sweet Water, AL, Mrs. Hill had a deep and reverent Christian belief. It is because of this belief that she knew she would have a place with our Savior, and there is comfort to know that she is again seeing her parents and sister.

Due to current restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date at Campground.
