Sharon Turnipseed Spears

Sharon was an amazing woman of God. She loved her God, her family, and her church more than anything else in this world. Her relentless pursuit for Jesus and His Kingdom was such a powerful impact on everyone around her. Her life has been a testament of what God’s grace and mercy can overcome. Her passing will leave such a void in her home and her church.

Sharon leaves behind her husband of 16 years, Barry Spears; her two loved children, Grayson (15) and Elizabeth (13); mother, Elizabeth Brent Walker of Homewood, AL; father, Olen Turnipseed (Beth) of Clanton, AL; sister, Brenda French (Raymond), and nephews, Raymond Paul and Andrew, all of Denver, CO; and many more family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, immediately followed by A Celebration of Sharon's Life at 10 a.m. at the funeral home's chapel. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
