Robert Avery "Bob" Rounds, 82, of Alabaster, AL died June 27, 2013. The Berwyn, IL native was a retired Master Sergent of the U.S. Army, with over 30 years of service including combat in three wars. After retirement, he was employed as delivery manager, Pizitz Department Store. Bob was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Ella May Rounds, and brother, Jack Rounds. Survivors: Wife, Bettie Jo Rounds; daughters, Paula Rounds, Jackie Shirley, Cindy Munroe, and Terri Harrell; sons, Robert Rounds Jr. and John Cummings; grandchildren, Taylor Cummings Shields, Greg Mauldin, Mitchell Mauldin, and Marie Bourassa; great-grandchildren, Jake Mauldin, Zoe Mauldin, Chloe Bourassa, Dylan Candido, Trevor Candido, Skyler Steblin, and Savannah Francis; sister, Suzanne Hicks; and brother, Don Rounds.
