Richard J Hardy

Hardy , Richard age 84 of Hoover, AL died Thursday, March18, 2010.He was born October 3,1925 in Ohio. Richard served in the United States Air Force and the Alabama National Guard.He retired as a pilot with Southern Natural Gas with 18 years of service. He attended Bluff Park United Methodist Church.

Mr Hardy is preceded in death by his wife Helen Virginia Hardy.

He is survived by his two sons, Richard Hardy Jr. of Hoover and Mark Hardy of Columbiana, and a sister Gerri Houser of Sacremento, CA.

Four grandchildren Allison, Andrew, Dylan, and Amber Hardy, and a special friend Cynthia Witherspoon

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday March 22, 2010 at thr Bluff Park United Methodist Church with a visitation to follow at the church

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial gifts be made to the Youth Fund at Bluff Park United Methodist Church or the Youth Fund at Lakeview Methodist Church
