Reba Bailey Caldwell

Reba Bailey Caldwell passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Reba was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Caldwell Sr., her son Randy Caldwell, her grandson, Joseph Phelps; mother, Virginia Bailey, and her father, Howard R. Bailey.

Reba is survived by her sons, William Caldwell Jr. (Kim) and Rod Caldwell (Adon Spears).

Grandchildren: Shelby Jones (Nick) ; Hayley Van Horn (Jesse) and Matthew Phelps.

Great Grandchildren: Collins and Lucy Jones.

Sister: Sherrill Benson and brothers Neil Bailey (Shawnna) ; Warren Bailey (Sandra) and many nieces and nephews.

Reba was a beloved lifelong member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder for several years. Reba loved helping others and retired from Brookwood Hospital. Reba loved her family and was dearly loved in return. We miss her already and will think of her fondly every day.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 31 at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church (5521 Double Oak Lane, Birmingham, AL 35242) Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 with the funeral directly following at 11:00. Burial will be at Croft-Acton Cemetery
