Ray Acton age 81 of Calera, AL, passed away on January 27, 2016. Ray is survived by his wife, Glenda Acton, sons, Donny (Mindy) Acton and Eddie (Karen) Calvin; daughters, Tacey (Larry) Jacks, Selena (Jimmy) Allen and Billie (Mark) Tidwell; sister, Elaine (Skip) Matthews; grandchildren, Avery, Ethan, Seth, Derek, Amber, Chad, Jordan, Erin, Chris, Jessica, Joshua, Jason and Micah; 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at The Branch at Mission Hills Church. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00pm at the church with burial to follow at Croft Action Cemetery in Hoover. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Mr. Acton’s Memory to The Branch at Mission Hills Church.
