Peggy “Peg” Kent Scott, daughter of the late Mr. Eugene Medders and Mrs. Peggy Jones Medders went to be with the lord unexpectedly with her brief battle with Covid. She was survived by her husband of 20 years, Haskell Edward “Ed” Scott and two children, Mark Kent (Shannon) of Bessemer and Misty (Tom) Pappas of Helena, as well as 3 granddaughters (Kayla, Hayley and Karys), 1 great granddaughter (Allena) and 3 great grandsons (Dawson, Cayson and Carson). She was predeceased by 1 grandson (Grayson).
Peg touched so many people with her life. She was a devout Christian and was devoted to her community. She lived for her family and Alabama football. She worked for Art Bindery in Birmingham, AL for the past 15 years where she recently retired in September.
Pegs wishes were to be cremated and hold a celebration of life. Due to the Covid pandemic, the family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of meals or flowers, the family ask that donations are made on Pegs behalf to either the Alabaster Give Backers (177 Cotton Trace, Maylene, AL 35114) or The Center of Hope (2906 Bynum Leatherwood Rd, Anniston, AL 36201).
