Pettit, Peggy Boatwright, passed away on Sept. 4, 2012, at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Pettit and son, Paul Boatwright Jr. She is survived by her sons, James (Diane) Dale, Phillip (Mary), daughters, Belinda (Jerry) and Iris (Larry) and her beloved sister, Janette. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 12:45pm at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale.
