Patsy Floyd Sexton

She is survived by her husband of nearly 51 years, Kenneth Sexton, and their children; Heather Speegle (Rodney), Kendra Slagle (Harry), Bobby Sexton and Tim Sexton (Jenny); sister Jolynn Floyd; grandchildren Logan Speegle, Lauren Speegle, Sklyer Slagle, Sarah Slagle, Kimberly Nalley, Bobby Sexton, Jr., Christy Sexton, Katie Sexton, Cammera Sittig, Jared Windsor, and Amber Sexton; 9 great-grandchildren; and extended relatives and friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her sister June Ferguson.

Pasty was a beloved wife, mother, sister, "Ma Maw", and friend. She graduated from Frank Hughes High School in Tennessee and went on to attend Birmingham Hospital School of Nursing. From there, she served as a registered nurse for over 30 years. Patsy was a devoted wife and mother. She was the best grandmother and bonded with her grandchildren every chance she had. Patsy was easy going and enjoyable to be around. She loved reading romance novels and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Patsy will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, Alabama 35124, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham, Alabama.
