Patricia Alfano Schilleci

Patricia Alfano Schilleci, our loving mother, left us September 23, 2014 to be with Our Lord in Heaven. She will join those who went before her: her loving husband and our father, Sammie R. Schilleci, her parents Vincent and Mary Buscarino Alfano, her brothers and sisters Josephine A. Finocchio, Silena A. Calhoun, Tommy Alfano, Phillip Alfano, Gertrude Alfano, Virginia Alfano and daughter-in-law Dena Shelburne Schilleci.

She leaves behind wonderful memories and a grateful family who will miss her dearly. Her children Patricia (Jesse) Welch, Susan (Kenny) Griffin, Ricky Schilleci and Celeste (Dwight) Burrell. Her grandchildren Stacy (Brett) Heatherly, Michelle (Mark) Bell, Kelly (Matt) Weekley, Emily Griffin, Mallory, Kimberly and Joseph Burrell, Sam, Brant and Lizzie Schilleci. Her great-grandchildren Hannah, Maddie and Ben Heatherly, Thomas, Rebecca and Andrew Bell. Her brother Vincent Alfano and sister Mary Camp, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mom always said that all she ever wanted was to be a wife and mother. She was wonderful at both and we were fortunate to have had her as our mother. I know Dad is happy to have her back.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, followed by a funeral mass. The family invites everyone to a dinner reception afterwards in Deasy Hall. A private family burial will be held Friday at Cedar Hills Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Helen, Sherita, Tasha and Keisha for the wonderful care and compassion they provided to our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church and The AHEPA Society.
