Norman Michael (Mike) Brasher, age 66, of Pelham, AL passed away peacefully at his home on April 20, 2024. He was born on January 23, 1958, to Norman R. and Jewel Brasher in Birmingham, AL. Mike graduated from Thompson High School and went on to the University of AL Police Academy and received his Certification in Criminal Justice Administration. He worked in law enforcement as a Sergeant at Pelham Police Department for 25 years. After retirement, Mike worked for Shelby County as a Court Deputy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman R. and Jewel Brasher; and brother-in-law, Doug Gardner.
Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Joy Brasher Gardner; niece, Faith Madison Gardner; cousin, Angie McGuire; and other cousins, aunts, and uncles.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a chapel service to follow at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will conclude at Pelham City Cemetery.
