Norma Gray Fleming

Norma Fleming, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Birmingham, AL on October 4, 2023. She was a devoted wife to Aubrey Fleming for 68 years, and a loving mother to Anne , David (Theresa), and Michael (June). Norma cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She attended Gadsden Memorial Hospital School of Nursing earning her LPN License. Norma was a real estate agent for five years in Atlanta Georgia. She worked for American Greeting Cards for 27 years, and volunteered at the Shelby Save A Life for over 10 years.

Born in Sherrills Ford, NC, Norma's life will be celebrated during a visitation at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, service at 10:00 followed by a reception.

Her kindness, love, and warmth will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her. In remembrance of Norma’s life, the family asks that donations be made to Faith Presbyterian Church Deacons Fund.
