He was born in Birmingham, AL on April 24th, 1956. He retired from the United States Postal Service.
He had a passion for all things Alabama Crimson Tide (Roll Tide!), as well as listening to Elton John, Billy Joel, and other 70’s artists. He was a poster boy for the speech and hearing impaired when he was 5, and raised awareness for those with hearing loss. He loved his country and exhibited great fervor in support of it. He showed his love everyday through work - his hands were magic and could fix anything you could think of, and he cooked Italian-style meals for his family almost every day. He was always helping others, and while doing so had a smile on his face that would light up the room. He was always so joyful and so happy, and loved cracking jokes. Most of all, he loved God, and his Catholic faith was at the forefront of his life. Right after was his family.
He is preceded in death by his son Justin Stamba, his father Steve Stamba, his sister Bernadette Marino, and his sister-in-law Vita Stamba. He is survived by his wife Kay Stamba, his children Brandon and Maria Stamba, his mother Elaine Stamba, and his brothers Steve (Jeanne) and Joe Stamba.
Funeral arrangements will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022. The visitation will be held at 10:00AM and the funeral mass will begin at 11:00AM.
