Michael Wayne Sarvaunt

Michael Wayne Sarvaunt was born November 5, 1966 to the union of Dallas Lee Sarvaunt and Ruth Faye Sarvaunt in the city of Lake Charles, LA. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church of Alabaster. He was married to Dorothy Cole on June 19, 2000 in Nashville, TN. He was the owner of Pub 261 for 11 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed Life most of all, boating, fishing, collecting watches, pranking, spending time with family and friends and helping others in time of need. He was very proud to host benefits for the Clay House Children's Center, Kings Home, Easter Seals, and most of all, Shelby Humane Society.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Lee Sarvaunt; sister, Cynthia Karen Chambers; brother-in-law, Jay Dee Chambers; nephew, Cody James Dean.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ruth Faye Sarvaunt; his wife, Dorothy C. Sarvaunt; children, Corey Allen (Rachel Brooke Butler-Sarvaunt), Devin Lee (Emily Grace Sarvaunt); sister, Connie Sarvaunt Dean (Jimmy Ellis Dean), Rebecca Sarvaunt Blessing (Bryan Dale); multiple nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Michael will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
