She had a passion for watching college football (Alabama), fishing, and she loved her two dogs.
Melissa is survived by her mother, Katheryn Vines Mullins; brother, William Greene Mullins Jr (Kimberley); nephew, William Greene Mullins III, and nephew Eli Gaines.
She is preceded in death by her father, William G. Mullins, Sr., her paternal grandmother, Mary Margaret Mullins, her paternal grandfather, Euin "Doc" Mullins, her maternal grandmother, Mary Frances Vines, and her maternal grandfather, Jimmy T. Vines.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 30, with visitation beginning at 4:00 pm. Followed by a service at 6:00 pm.
