Nugent, Mary Ann, age 77 of Alabaster, passed away on July 18, 2014. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mr. John A. Nugent; daughters, Cynthia Nugent, Judith Haring (Frank) and Lynda Johnson (Mickey); grand-daughter, Michelle Reynolds; grand-sons, Graham Marsh, Taylor Marsh and Jacob Haring; Great-Grandson, Donovan Reynolds; three sisters and one brother from West Virginia. Mary Ann was born in Charleston, West Virginia. She was a devoted member of The First UMC of Alabaster and the Woven Thread Bible Study. The family will receive friends on July 21, 2014 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham from 1-2 p.m. Celebration of Life Services will start at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mike Densmore officiating. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Shelby County Humane Society or The First UMC of Alabaster in memory of Mrs. Nugent.
