Mark graduated from Sparks Center at UAB in Birmingham and received his GED. His professional career was in the car detailing and environmental service sector. He was employed with several companies in Alabama and Southern Illinois. In his leisure, he enjoyed working on cars, playing with his cats, and people watching.
Mark is survived by his sister, Julie Farrar Moses (Darryl) of Herrin; brother-in-law, Steven Cassell (Kathy); sisters-in-law, Jayna Farrar Estes (Mark) and Donna Lynne Eula Higgs (Lawton, Jr.); aunt, Diane Oxspring (Hollis); nephews, Benjamin Moses, Joshua Farrar, and Bart Oxspring; nieces, Hannah Farrar, Mary Hannah Higgs, and Hollie Oxspring; and step-mother, Cassandra Beattie.
Family and friends will gather for the 6:30 p.m. memorial service on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at First Pentecostal Church of Herrin, 1220 S. 16th Street, Herrin, IL 62948.
