Marie Elizabeth Pitts

Marie Pitts, 97, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Marie unselfishly gave of her time and talents, and lovingly served others.

Mrs. Pitts is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. Pitts; parents, Joseph S. and Mary R. Marino; and sister, Annie Mae Piazza (Sam). She is survived by her sons, Anthony V. Pitts and Joseph S. Pitts (Sharon); brother, Sal A. Marino (Josephine); sister, Bena Marino; grandson, Vincent Pitts (Candace); great grandsons, Dominic Pitts and Tucker Pitts; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to acknowledge St. Vincent’s Hospice, Comfort Keepers and Comfort Care for their compassion and care.

The funeral mass for Marie will be at 11am on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
