Marie “Jackie” Sims Hale, passed away October 27, 2016 at the age of 96. She is survived by her children, Christine Hale Bullard (Tommy), and Phyllis Hale Black (Doug); daughter in law, Dixie C. Hale grandchildren, John Travis Hale (Phyllis) and Michelle Hyde (Tim); great grandchildren, Wayne Hale (Kellie), Randy Hale, Wade Hyde (Cortney), Jeremy Hyde, Sue Brooks, and Brandy Brooks; great great grandchildren, Lucas Hale, Charlie Hale, Anna Bella Alberts, and Ivory Nealey. She is preceded in death by her husband, John H Hale Sr.; son, John H. Hale Jr.; six siblings. She was a lifetime member and played the piano at Mars Hill Baptist Church since 1933. She was devoted to both her church and family whom she loved dearly. Special thanks to Joann and Randy at Stone Salon for their care and compassion for making her Thursday’s special. There will be a celebration of Jackie’s life on Sunday the 30th at 2:00pm with a visitation starting at 1:00pm.
