Margaret Watkins

WATKINS, MARGARET ROSALYN RILEY age 77, of Hoover, AL passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010. She was born on June 19, 1933 in Guin, AL. She was a member of Berney Points Baptist church. She was retired from Cowin and Company. She was proceeded in death by her parents Ellen and Edward Riley, Sr., brother Hayden Riley, sister Nellie Atkins. She is survived by her loving husband Ed Watkins; her children Greg (Selena) Watkins, Andy (Debbie) Watkins, Ginny Posey (Rick Allison) and Amy (Clay) Valentine; her grandchildren, Matthew Watkins, O.C. Watkins, Chance Watkins, Danielle Watkins, David Watkins, Nicole Posey, Josh Posey, Carl-Edward Valentine and Clay-Riley Valentine; her great grandchild Brooklyn Watkins. Her sisters Lola Burke (Tuscaloosa), Frankie McDonald (Guin), Peggy Ogilvie (Birmingham), brother Edward "Bud" Riley, Jr. (Canada), and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly loved friends. Visitation and funeral services will be held Monday January 3, 2011 at Southern Heritage Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with funeral proceeding at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.
