Margaret Bates Camp

She was born on September 17, 1936, to the late Dewey and Ruby Bates. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Jesse Camp, and her brothers, Charles Bates and John Bates.

Left to cherish her memory are her two nieces, Sandy Bates (Robert) Robinson; Debbie Bates (Shane) Jones; her sister-in-law, Lorene Bates; her 3 great-nieces, Mandy Sellers; Brandi (Kevin)Burgess; and Jamie (Zeke) Finley; her nephew, Cody Jones; along with four great-great-nieces; three great-great- nephews; as well as her special buddy, her great-great niece, Chloe. She will be missed by her best friend of 55 years, Ann Dawson.

Visitation will be held at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
