Diana Lorraine “Lori” Barnes Bodinger (December 26, 1968-January 13, 2015) died peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. She was 46.
Lori, who lived with her family in Russellville, Arkansas, is survived by her husband of 20 years, Michael Bodinger; her son, Carter Bodinger; her mother, Wanda Bodinger (Donald); her father, Don Barnes (Linda); her brother, Kenney Barnes; her first cousins, Jennifer Yates and Michael Moore; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held this Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124 (205-988-3511). Her family will receive family and friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to standup2cancer.org.
