Linda Lee Waldrop

Linda Waldrop, age 83, of Birmingham, AL passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025. She was born to AC and Bobbie Logwood on April 23, 1941 in Atlanta, GA. Linda attended Georgia State University where she received advanced degrees in teaching and business. On August 22, 1970 she married the love of her life Grover Waldrop and would spend 49 wonderful years together. Linda loved her career and enjoyed many years teaching and working for numerous businesses before she settled in to do what brought her the most joy, loving her grandchildren. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles, and playing card/board games.

Linda is preceded by her husband, Grover Waldrop; brother, Tony Logwood; sister, Debra Logwood.

She leaves behind her children, Wendy Rebecca Waldrop Miller, and William Richard Middleton; grandchildren, Ryan and Shannon Middleton, and Peyton, Addison, and Sophia Miller.

A celebration of Linda's life will be on April 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Asbury Methodist Church
