Linda Lee Johnson Parker, age 80, of Thorsby, Alabama, and previously of Indian Springs, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Nelson Parker, Sr.; her parents, Edwin and Virginia Johnson; and her sister, Sally Lory.
Survivors include Linda's four step-children, Buddy Parker (Sue), Elizabeth Malone (Eddie), Tim Parker, and Jim Parker (Marie); as well as many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Linda was retired from Alabama Power and in her earlier years worked for Detroit Edison. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Airstream Traveling Club for many years.
The family expresses their sincere gratitude to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice and Linda's many faithful caretakers.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Southern Heritage Cemetery, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
