Linda JoAnne Hoffmann, 59, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011. The Tampa, Florida native was an elementary school teacher for 35 years. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Winfield Scott McNab, and her mother, Lindoll Eliza McNab. Survivors include Linda's loving and faithful husband of 39 years, Gary Hoffmann; daughters, Kimberly Brown Peerman (Jerry) and Michelle Channell (Heath); and grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Brown, and Blakely, Karrington and Kendall Channell. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
