Judith Ann McAlister passed away on June 25th, 2016 at the age of 76. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Glenn and Bonnie Poff; her husband of 42 years, James Harvey McAlister III; Judith is survived by her son, James Harvey (Leigh Steele) McAlister IV of Irondale, AL; sister, Marlene Poff Simpkins of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister in law, Ellen (Tor) Westin of Stone Mountain, GA; brother in law, Hal (Susan) McAlister of Decatur, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. There will be a celebration of life held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday the 30th at 11:00am with a visitation starting one hour prior. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Judith’s name to the American Cancer Society.
