

Judy was born on March 4, 1929, to Philip and Laura Dennis in Delanco, New Jersey. She was the youngest of 8 children. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings. On August 23, 1952, she married her high school sweetheart, Dr. Joseph Domenick Dolce, where they moved to Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Dolce predeceased her on January 14, 2012.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Jeffrey J. Dolce and his wife, Mary Jane, of Birmingham, Alabama, and Stephen P. Dolce and his wife, Maria, of Poughkeepsie, New York; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Partner Sarah), Andrew, Joseph (wife, Isabelle), and David (wife, Francine) and their children, Alayna, Vera, Camilla and Dominic. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She had many close friends and neighbors who became her extended family.
She had a great passion for dogs and pets, enjoyed crafts, such as needlepoint and pottery, and loved to sit in her sunroom watching the birds while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. She also enjoyed reading and her favorite book was the Bible.
She was known by family and friends to have a servant’s heart. She cared for many family members and friends over the years and was full of compassion, generosity and hospitality. She was much loved and will always be remembered for her bright blue eyes and warm smile.
Visitation will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11 am - 12 pm. A memorial service will follow at 12 pm.
