Josephine Ceravolo Roberts

Josephine graduated from Ensley High School and earned her Associate Degree in Accounting from Alverson Draughon. Many of the 20 years she faithfully served at First Baptist Church of Pelham, Alabama were as bookkeeper.

As an active member of First Baptist Pelham, she enjoyed teaching 4-year-olds in Sunday School and going on churchwide mission trips in the United States. She had a deep spiritual burden for the families she helped on her international mission trip to Peru.

Josephine is survived by her husband, John Charles "Jack" Roberts, Jr., to whom she was married on February 14, 1981; one daughter, Jill Davis (Michael); one son, Jacob Roberts (Rachel); two grandchildren, Emma Davis and Sophie Davis; and a sister, Linda Guyton.

Josephine's family will greet friends on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Pelham, Alabama from 3-4 p.m., immediately followed by A Service of Remembrance at 4 p.m. at the church, 2867 Pelham Parkway, Pelham, AL 35124.
