Joseph Boddie

Joseph Theodore Boddie passed away February 1, 2018. He was a retired Boilermaker from Birmingham Local 108. Mr. Boddie was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Lee and Pauline Boddie; brother Winston; sisters, Juanita, Nell, Odessa and Rebecca; daughter, Christina Lynn Boddie. Mr. Boddie is survived by his former wife and soulmate Sandra, his 2 sons Joseph Lee (Patti) Boddie and Michael Beavers; 3 grandchildren Jake Boddie, Cody Beavers and Jade Parker; his only living sister, Kathleen Holt; and a host of nieces and nephews. Joe will be missed dearly and forever be in our hearts. The man he was touched us all. Funeral services will be Friday, February 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home 475 Cahaba Valley Road Pelham, Alabama. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
