Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Violet Ragland; daughter, Alisa Ragland Sims (Mark); granddaughter, Reagan Sims; grandsons, Caleb and Christian Sims; sister, Beth Reid (David, recently deceased); and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19th at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Ridout’s Southern Heritage. Burial will follow in Southern Heritage Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
