CROWSON, JOE FRANKLIN, age 70, of Keystone, Alabama, passed away on May 7, 2012. Joe owned and operated Joe F. Crowson Construction. Joe's call name on his CB Radio was "Blue Beard", he also enjoyed Ham Radio and got his Amateur Radio License in 2008, (KJ4CMR) he also loved to BBQ and often served Pelham Police and Fire Dept. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Flora Crowson; sons, Bryan (Amanda) Crowson, Brandon (Danielle) Crowson; grandchildren, Leigh Anne, Dustin, Rhiannon, Jesse, Olivia, Ethan and Asa Crowson; sisters, Faye L. Melvin, Jean Gurley, Barbara Backes, Wanda Holcomb and Linda O'Daniel; brother, Jerry Crowson. Funeral services will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home Chapel May 11, 2012 at 11:00am with burial in Elliotsville Cemetery. Rev. Shelby Baston officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Funeral Home.
