Jerry Lamar Jordan, age 72, of Pelham, Alabama, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who never met a stranger and made everybody laugh. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Jerry was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. The 1962 Tarrant High School graduate retired from Charter/Spectrum. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Lowell and Nelle Jordan. Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret Elaine Hand; one daughter, Tracey Jordan; one son, Jeff Jordan; four grandchildren, Austin Duke, Justin Winters, Chase Jordan, and Kyndal Jordan; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Winters, Rylee Winters, and Kinsly Winters; and one brother, Wayne Jordan.
Family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Jerry Jordan's Life & Legacy to begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama.
