Jason Lemuel“Lem” INGRUM Jr., age 88, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Wednesday June 6, 2018. He was born June 2, 1930. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jason and Mary Elizabeth Ingrum. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris W. Ingrum, daughters, Susan (Ty) Resha and Melinda (Toshi) Sosa; grandchildren, Sarah and Emily Resha, Juniper, Joseph and Michael Sosa.
Lem was a member of East Lake United Methodist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, graduated from the University of Alabama and retired from UAB after 22 years of service.
Family will receive friends on Monday, June 11th from 12:00 until 1:00. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Burial to follow at 2:45pm at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Mr. Ingrum's Memory to East Lake United Methodist Church, 7753 1st Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35206.
