James Lee Burgess, age 79, of Pleasant Grove, Alabama passed way on October 10th, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tolbert and Eron Burgess and stepmother, Catherine Burgess. Also his brother, Jerry T. Burgess and sister, Judy Cornett. Survivors include his son, James Lee Scott; Daughter, Marsha Scott Price, Grandson; Grant Melvin (April); sister, Marilyn Amos (Ricky), brother, Eddie Burgess (Thersa), sister-in-law, Nancy Burgess.

A graveside service will be held at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
