Irvin Walter Edwards, Jr., 68, of Hoover, Alabama passed away May 7, 2013 surrounded by family. He was born August 18, 1944 to Irvin Walter Edwards, Sr. and Winnie Edwards. "I.W." worked for Alabama Power Company for 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Diane Broadus Edwards; daughter, Gina Seibert (Mark); son, Heath Edwards (Lacey); mother, Winnie Edwards; sister, Ann Lowery; and four grandchildren, Jon Houston Seibert, and Bailey, Isabella, and Liam Edwards. I.W. was full of love and life and he enriched the lives of all who knew him in a positive way. Special thanks to the office of Luis F. Pineda and all who touched I.W.'s life through his brief illness. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, with the Celebration of I.W.'s Life immediately following at 2 p.m. in the funeral home's chapel in Pelham.
