Heather Lynn Wolf, age 50, currently residing in Birmingham, AL died peacefully on Thursday, January 14th, 2021, after suffering a long illness. Heather was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on October 21, 1970. She is survived by her mother Janice Parker Bricker, her father, Richard May Wolf (Donna), her sister, Kristen Smith (Brett) of Waterford, VA, her brother, Robert Wolf (Johnnie Kay) of Birmingham, AL, and her brother, Matthew Wolf of Lancaster, Pa.
Heather graduated from North Penn High School in 1989 and attended University of Pittsburgh, Bucks County University and West Chester University from 1990 through 1993. She worked in the technology industry from 1993 through 1999 for Neptune Software, Cort Data and EXE Technologies. For EXE Technologies she was Liaison for International Relationships and traveled extensively throughout the Far East. From 1999 through 2003 she worked in the financial sector for Prudential Securities, Morgan Stanley and Wedbush Morgan Securities. From 2004 through February 2020 she worked for Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, CA as a snowboard instructor. She loved teaching young children to enjoy the sport she was so gifted in.
Heather wrote numerous childrens’ books with her beloved malamute Kipnuck playing the lead role. In the town of Mammoth she also led story time at the Mammoth Library, worked in the floral department at Vons grocery store, worked as a ranch hand, played the role of a historic physician on the Mammoth Lakes Trolley, and acted in local theater including playing Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof.
She was a member of Calvalry Chapel in Costa Mesa, California, and was actively involved in sharing her faith with a needy world. Heather was an incredibly talented, beautiful, and gifted young lady who left this world too soon. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and snowboarding students. We are thankful that she now is in the loving arms of Jesus, where suffering and pain are no more.
