Hearal was born in Cullman County AL and grew up in Childersburg, AL. He attended Jacksonville State University. Hemoved to Birmingham, AL where he met the love of his life, Marilyn. He owned and operated his own business whichopened in 1958 and is still successful to this today. His passions included his family, gardening, and a love of collecting classic automobiles. His personality was one of a quick smile and a clever wit. He never met a stranger and would always say hello or had a joke for everyone he met.
Preceding him in death were parents Jarone Grady & RessieWhited Guess. Left to love and cherish his memory will be his wife of 48 years Marilyn Livingston Guess, sons Dyer Jason Guess (Jaime), Kyle Allen Guess, grandchildren Elliot and Charlotte Guess (Dyer), brother Howard Guess, his wife Eva, nephews Howard, Jared, and Tyson.

Visitation will be held Friday February 21, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with graveside services immediately following at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, AL.
