Florence Grant

Florence Goodman Grant, 90, passed away on March 29, 2018. She was born on April 13, 1927 in Marietta, GA. Known as TuTu by all of her grandchildren, Florence was an animal lover, sweet spirited, and a respected horse breeder. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was always cheerful and encouraging, and she loved everyone she met.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents, Robert McAlpin and Dorothy Victoria Goodman; brother, Robert McAplin Goodman, Jr.; sister, and Dorothy Goodman Thompson. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Stephen Grant and Wyatt Wesley Grant; and grandchildren, Robert Stephens Grant, Jr., Victoria Elizabeth Grant, Ryan Grant, Wyatt Grant, and Michael Grant.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, AL. A graveside service will be at Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby County Humane Society.
