Evelyn Daniel Grantham

Evelyn D. Grantham, age 86 of Hoover Alabama, passed away on Thursday August 29th, 2019 surrounded by her family. Evelyn was preceded in death by her spouse Francis L Grantham. In addition, she was preceded by her father James Gordon Daniel, her mother Pauline Baker Daniel, and her brother Kenneth Daniel (all of Jackson, MS). She is survived by her brother, Bobby Daniel (Mary) of Lena, Mississippi; Children, Michael W. Grantham (Elizabeth) of Birmingham, AL, Tricia G. Rawlins of Snellville, GA, and Melinda G. Culberson (Scott) of Birmingham, AL; Grandchildren, Natalie Culberson (fiancé, Stirling), Emily Culberson, and Michael Culberson; Grandpets, Ella, T.J., Buddy, and Roo.

Evelyn enjoyed painting, spending time with her grandchildren, playing bridge, and gathering with the “Fab Five.” In her last days, Evelyn enjoyed companionship with her caretaker, Renee. Family viewing will be held at 9:30 am, with a public visitation from 10-11 am, followed by a service at 11 am at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Rd. Pelham, AL. Family will proceed to a graveside burial at 2 pm at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL on Evelyn and Francis’ 66th Wedding Anniversary.
